Ben Skrla

Ben went to high school in Angleton, TX where he finished with a personal best of 176’ in the discus and was a 3 time regional qualifier, 1 time regional champion, and 1 time state qualifier. After graduating he walked on at Texas A&M University and spent the next 5 years on the team where he competed primarily in the discus, but also threw hammer and weight indoors. His personal bests are 178’ in the discus, 170’ in the hammer, and 61’ in the weight throw. He qualified for regionals in all 4 years of competition in the discus and finished as high as 9th place at the SEC Championships.  He now lives in Austin, TX and works as a homebuilder.
